Our Sustainability Commitment
We aim to reduce or offset our emissions by 50% by 2024 and be fully carbon neutral by 2050.
Remembering that sustainability is an ongoing journey, we commit to regularly monitoring our progress and adjusting our approach as needed to continue making meaningful strides towards lowering our carbon footprint.

Our Target Commitment
Basis is committed to the goal of achieving full carbon neutrality by 2050. As world technology improves and allows, we will revise our aims to become fully Net Zero.
Making a more sustainable world
We understand the importance of local actions with global impacts, and through conscientious processes, environmentally friendly practices, and the collective dedication of our people, we are determined to make a tangible difference.
Our Carbon Footprint
Emissions were calculated and recorded in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard (GHG Protocol).
We commissioned the services of an environmental consultant to assist with measuring our organisational Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF). The CCF reflects the total CO2 emissions released by the Basis Research Group and subsidiaries in 2021.
We will continue to calculate our emissions in future years and will compare the emissions like-for-like per employee to take into account our bigger workforce as we continue to grow as a company while still reducing our environmental impact proportionately.
- Scope 1 – 3.84 t CO2
- Scope 2 – 30.61 t CO2
- Scope 3 – 175.55 t CO2
